As an e-commerce operator, MakeMyTrip and Goibibo are liable to collect TCS at the rate of 1% (0.5% CGST & 0.5% SGST) on the Effective Sell Price of Room (Sell price net of hotel driven discounts) excluding Property GST for every room night supplied/booked through it.
Effective Sell Price will also include add-on, extra bed/adult charges, service charges, etc. wherever charged separately by your business. TCS is collected only when payment is collected by us. In case, the payment is collected directly by you, we will not collect TCS.
